Is this real?
Yes! We are passionate about beach volleyball and have been part of Seattle’s beach volleyball community for years. We have want to create a space for the community to enjoy beach volleyball year round in Seattle.
How many courts will you have?
We will have 5 indoor beach courts making us the largest indoor beach facility in the greater Seattle area. Our courts are designed for the highest levels of play with professional sand and ample room for serving and getting your hustle on. We will also feature 3 indoor pickleball courts professionally surfaced.
When are you opening?
As of October 2024, we are working through the permitting and construction process to get our new home ready for an early 2025 opening. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or sign up for updates!
Where are you located?
Our facility will be located in Georgetown neighborhood a few blocks from the old Sandbox location at 5930 4th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108.
What beach volleyball leagues will you run?
We primarily feature quads and doubles beach leagues in women’s, men’s and co-ed formats. We welcome beginners to advanced players and will structure the leagues to make them both fun and competitive for your level. We also would like to support and welcome newcomers to the world of beach volleyball and may run a beginners 6s co-ed league as introduction to the sport.
What pickleball leagues will you run?
We will have co-ed, women’s and men’s leagues at a variety of levels.
Will you have tournaments?
Yes, we look to run tournaments on the weekends across different formats (Queens, Kings, men’s, women’s, and co-ed bracket).
What about events and birthday parties?
We have just the space for you! We will have different options for birthday parties, corporate events, renting courts to run tournaments/clinics.
What is a Queens or Kings tournament?
A tournament designed to crown a single Queen or King of the court. You’ll rotate partners through the course of the tournament, scoring points only when you on receive. You keep track of points individually, and the person with the most points is crowned winner!
